Security Maps

I have been searching the tfc world, what's left of it, to find tutorials on how to set up laser security CTF style maps.. I am having issues getting the buttonmaster lasersystems to work.. meaning laser security that deactivates when a button is pressed / used / activated.

Anyone here know anything about the entity parameters of such a system? I have decompiled many maps but mine never seem to work. I've even, to see if it would work, copied a complete laser security system from a map already made, into mine, and it didn't work...

Anybody who can help, it would be much appreciated!

I didnt think anyone would actually reply to this. woot!

I tried to decompile multiple maps. Shutdown2, schtop, openfire, openfire_lowgrens, ceasefire, and destroy_l...

But I still cannot figure it out.

The closest I have gotten is a button that turns off the laser/hurttrigger, and then once the button resets, turns it back on.. Like a light switch.. it must be pressed to turn on, pressed to turn off...

*EDIT* when the button resets, the laser and hurt does not come back unless the button is "used" again.

I got a hold of a mapper by the name of Catta and he made an example map for me. I got it figured out now. There's no need to use env_beam, as most tutorials were demanding. Thanks for the consideration though.
